Adriaan Pauwstraat – Statenkwartier
Tall trees catch a lot of wind, as they say. It is therefore also important to maintain dormer windows regularly. This certainly applies to dormer windows in the Statenkwartier in The Hague that, just a stone’s throw from the beach at Scheveningen, have to endure a lot of weather and wind. The dormer window on the Adriaan Pauwstraat was in poor condition when we first saw it. In collaboration with Alexandria Garantie Aannemers, we skilfully copied and replaced the parts that were damaged by dry rot. Also the frames were rejuvenated, to facilitate HR glazing. In addition, the windows were replaced in the living room, with the difference that here the insulation glass was placed in the existing frames. The entire project was delivered within ten working days, including a five-year maintenance guarantee. The jobs in this premises are, in our opinion, a good example of our expertise in a range of challenging restoration tasks. And most likely to the satisfaction of the customer, who put more projects our way after delivery of this one.
