Bloemcamplaan, Wassenaar
Many of our customers find us through word of mouth recommendations. So it is particularly nice when a contact and project come about through online research by the contractor, as was the case with this building. After detailed discussions with the new owner of this especially beautiful villa in leafy Wassenaar we first put together a suitable and specific range of colours. We decided to use the excellent products of Farrow & Ball for the wallpaper and paintwork. As Master Painters we naturally take the various characteristic features into consideration. For example, the light fall but also the purpose of a space or room, since everything must be balanced with the décor. What was a great help in delivering this special job within the agreed time was that the customer had a good idea beforehand of how the wallpaper and paintwork should be done. We opted for the Sikkens paint system for the lacquer work; it never fails us. On some spots in the house, before a new layer of lacquer could be applied, it was necessary to clean up the whole original woodwork, as is known in the trade. In combination with the wall finishing, imitation marble technique and monumental restoration jobs, the work on the Bloemcamplaan was a project very few specialists in the Netherlands could have handled. An extra reason to be proud of the result delivered by our qualified staff!
